SL1007: Programme Co-ordination

Target Group: Holders of the post of Programme Co-ordinator in schools.
Course Aims: • Enable Co-ordinators to engage in planning and administration related to the various programmes including the use of a range of template files
• Explore strategies for the management/leadership of programme teams including planning and running meetings
• Explore strategies and design models for the review and evaluation of programmes
• Discuss approaches to conflict management and negotiation
• Undertake some action research in teachers’ own work situations, reflect on practice and document the outcomes.
The course will have a practical focus and will provide opportunities for participants to engage in discussion and share good practice.
