Course Aims: This in-service will focus on areas/topics in Junior Certificate Science and LC Chemistry that the majority of students have difficulty with. The core philosophy is modelled on the Cognitive Acceleration through Science Education programme or CASE. The course will contain many practical examples for use in the chemistry classroom. It will include a resource pack including activities, worksheets, teaching resources for the teachers and a student workbook.
